With my mind made up, I wasted no time. I submitted my medical form and pictures, and just two days later, I found myself coordinating my trip with Laura, one of their fantastic patient coordinators. In May 2014, I arrived in Mexico, ready to embark on my transformative journey.
MY FIRST DAY IN MEXICO :
The Scala Magna Hotel in Mexico City became my home throughout the entire process, (the hotel stay included in my package). When I arrived at the hotel, I was excited to meet other Americans who were also here for their own plastic surgery journey. Seeing the number of patients was truly impressive, but what made a lasting impression was the incredible personalized service we all received from TopPlasticSurgeonsMexico's staff. They treated us like friends and provided exceptional care every step of the way.
On the day of my arrival, I had the met my surgeon, Dr. Bernardo Rendon. Let me just say, he was exceptional in every way, guiding me through the entire process with absolute professionalism and care. Even though I hadn't spoken to him prior to my first consultation in Mexico, that initial meeting was simply mind-blowing. Dr. Bernardo took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, attentively listening to my desires regarding the size I wanted.

During the consultation, he also marked the areas for liposuction on my body and explained how he would enhance the size of my buttocks by skillfully reinjecting my own fat into them. I couldn't have been happier or more confident with my decision.

SURGERY DAY :
The surgery was scheduled for the next day at 12:00 pm, and as you can imagine, I experienced a mix of nervousness and excitement.
Around 9:00 am, my incredible personal assistant, Pamela, picked me up from the hotel and drove me to the hospital. Once there, she provided invaluable assistance with all the necessary paperwork. The entire process went incredibly smoothly. They arranged for me to have my own private room at the hospital, ensuring my comfort.
Around 10:00 am, I met the anesthetist. He asked me a few questions about my overall health and prior experiences with anesthesia, taking the time to explain how I would wake up after the surgery.
At 11:00 am, it was time to enter the operating room. The anesthetist administered an IV that delivered the anesthesia medication, and within seconds, I don't remember a thing until I woke up in the recovery room.
After the surgery, when I regained consciousness, I felt good overall, but a bit chilly and nauseous. I stayed one night at the hospital, and before my departure from hospital, Dr. Bernardo visited me in my room to assess how I was feeling, check the bandages, and ensure everything was going well.
RECOVERY AT HOTEL :
The recovery process at the hotel was a breeze, and I received excellent care throughout. Dr. Valentina, visited me daily at the hotel, changing my bandages and monitoring my recovery progress.
"In the first few days following the surgery, I naturally felt a bit groggy from the anesthesia. I took the time to rest as needed, but I also made sure to stand up and walk around every few hours to keep the blood circulating".
Speaking of scars, I could feel them slightly raised beneath the tape, but when the tape finally came off, I was overjoyed to discover completely smooth skin. I thought my breasts looked slightly uneven, but Dr. Valentina reassured me that it was due to swelling and completely normal. As time passed, my breasts gradually settled, and by two months post-surgery, they looked absolutely perfect.
The results of my Brazilian Butt Lift "BBL" were equally great—the size of my buttocks matched my dreams exactly.
The RESULTS :
