FACE LIFT / FACIAL REJUVENATION IN MEXICO...More info

What is the Face Lift procedure?
Today there are several types of facelifts that improve the misfortunes caused by aging of the face and neck, or localized manner, or more extensively.

- The SMAS Facelift / Cervicofacial Lift also called Neck Lift is most commonly performed. This is the surgical correction of aging in the neck and at the face from the forehead to the region jowls region. The appearance of the eye is not corrected with a simple cervicofacial lift.

- The Brow Lift / Temporal Lift improves the stigma of aging in the region temples. The temporal lift is often associated with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty).

This procedure corrects drooping brows part of deshirr the crow's feet and to slightly tension the skin of the outer part of the eyelids.
After a temporal lift the eyes again look bright and alert, which gives the whole face a fresh and well rested appearance. The procedure lightens hooding of the outer eyelid, reduces deep lines and the look of heaviness around the eyes and restores a firm outer-eye area. The result is entirely natural and patients have found that if people do comment afterwards, they are most likely to say how well and relaxed they look, or ask if they have been away on a holiday.

When a Brow Lift is combined with a Neck Lift, these two together can complete the rejuvenation package - Complete FaceLift -
These interventions are well suited to women than men. The average age for a facelift is 45-50 years age when the signs of aging are becoming more visible.

Sometimes, it isn't age that determines the need for a Neck Lift, but rather having lost considerable weight or it may even be hereditary feature you'd like to remedy. In fact, many younger people undergo a Neck lift. Many men and women who have undergone Neck lift are often thought to have "lost a lot of weight" or "toned up" rather than having had surgery.

Before the Face Lift
The motivations and requests of the patient will be analysed during the preoperative consultation with the surgeon.
No medication containing aspirin should be taken within 20 days before surgery.
Stopping smoking is obligatory before surgery.

Anaesthesia for Face Lift
The Cervicofacial Lift / Neck Lift and Lateral Brow Lift / Temporal Lift can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia accompanied by sedation.

How long does Face Lift take?
The procedure can last about 2 hours to 4 hours depending on the importance of corrections and possible surgeries that are involved.

How visible will Face Lift scars be?
- SMAS Facelift / Neck Lift / Cervicofacial Lift: They will be located behind the ears and hidden by the hair.

- Temporal Lift / Lateral Brow Lift: The temporal brow lift is a procedure in which smaller incisions are made in the temple region of the forehead and scalp. Most of the incision is hidden in the scalp with a small portion placed on the side of the forehead. This approach has the advantage of being a smaller procedure requiring less dissection.

Neck Lift in Mexico

What is the recovery time healing process for a Face Lift?

The SMAS Face lift / Neck Lift / Cervicofacial Lift hospitalization for 24 to 48 hours is required for this type of intervention.
The Temporal Lift / Lateral Brow Lift can be done as an outpatient, that is to say with an exit on the same day after several hours of surveillance.

The first few days, you have to rest up and avoid any strenuous exercise. During the first days, the patient will not be surprised not to worry :

• A small cutaneous ring to the upper portion of the temporal scar
• Edema which may be more pronounced on the third day as the first
• Bruising
• The feeling of a painful tension at the temples

If the scars are located on the scalp, they will not be visible. The son or staples placed at the level of the leather may be withdrawn from the 7th day after surgery.

In case the scars are at pre capillary level , they will be visible but will begin to fade in the first week and disappear from the 3rd month with hair regrowth.
They can be hidden with makeup the first months.

Generally, here are the different postoperative stages:
• The seventh day presentable for intimate
• Towards the twelfth day presentable for his friends
• But to appear before the people whose they are to ignore the operation, it is necessary to provide three weeks.

How long after a Face Lift do you start seeing results?
After two to three months, we can get a good idea of the final result. Physical improvement is accompanied usually psychological wellness.

PRICES OF ALL FACE LIFTS PERFORMED AT OUR FACILITY

Below, you will find the complete list of all facelift procedures available at our facility. We have included all facelift options because we frequently receive inquiries from our patients asking, "What is the best facelift technique for me?" or "Is a deep plane facelift better than a SMAS facelift?"
The abundance of information on facelift procedures and techniques online has led to significant confusion among patients. Plastic surgeons, perhaps seeking to justify varying prices, have introduced numerous new "commercial" names for facelift surgery, a procedure that was traditionally known as Rhytidectomy or commercially as a facelift.

At our facility, transparency is our priority!
A facelift surgery typically lasts between 3 and 5 hours, depending on the complexity, and each face Lift, like any other procedure, must be tailored to meet the individual needs and expected outcomes of the patient.

We have decided to maintain a consistent pricing policy at our facility, regardless of the name or duration of the surgery. This commitment to price transparency ensures fairness and clarity for all our patients.

TRADITIONAL FACE LIFT / RHYTIDECTOMY
A Rhytidectomy, also known as “Face Lift”, is a surgical procedure designed to reposition facial soft tissues, resulting in a more youthful and balanced appearance. It involves lifting, tightening, and restoring the youthful contours of the face.
Price of Face Lift (Mid Face + Neck): US$3,900
Price of Full Face Lift (Upper Face + Mid Face + Neck): US$4,500

DEEP PLANE FACE LIFT SURGERY / AURALYFT
The deep plane facelift is an advanced surgical technique that targets the repositioning of deeper layers of facial muscles and tissues. It focuses on lifting beneath the muscle layer while keeping the skin attached to the muscle layers. This approach prevents the overly tight appearance.
One of the key principles of the deep plane facelift is the release of tethering points in the deep plane of the face, eliminating the need for additional fat or filler. By lifting the cheeks and addressing mid-face concerns, it creates a smoother, more defined jawline, resulting in an overall more youthful appearance.
Price of Deep Plane Face Lift (Mid Face + Neck): US$3,900
Price of Full Deep Plane Face Lift (Upper Face Lift + Mid Face + Neck): US$4,500

SMAS FACE LIFT / CERVICO FACIAL LIFT / GLIDE FACE LIFT
The SMAS (Superficial Musculo-Aponeurotic System) encompasses the muscle layer located in the lower cheeks and jowl area, while the platysma is the muscle that extends across the neck and lower third of the face. Elevating and tightening this combined SMAS-Platysma layer typically yields superior results compared to lifting the skin alone. This surgical procedure, commonly referred to as a Cervicofacial lift or SMAS Neck lift, primarily targets the lower third of the face and jawline, enhancing the overall appearance and contour.
Price of SMAS Face Lift (Mid Face + Neck): US$3,900
Price of Full SMAS Face Lift (Upper Face Lift + Mid Face + Neck): US$4,500

NECK LIFT / PLATYSMAPLASTY / "TURKEY" NECK LIFT / LOWER FACELIFT / JAWLINE REJUVENATION
As we age, the muscles in the neck begin to sag, resulting in a loss of firmness and the development of vertical banding commonly referred to as a "turkey neck." The neck lift procedure, also known as platysmaplasty, targets deeper tissues to address these issues by tightening the neck skin, eliminating neck banding, and removing fat deposits. Areas treated by Neck lift include: Jowls / Loose Neck Skin / Loose Jawline Skin / Deep Wrinkles / Corners of the Mouth.
At our facility, this technique is combined with a lower facelift to achieve a more youthful appearance, defined neck contour, and overall facial rejuvenation.
Price of Neck Lift (Mid Face + Neck): US$3,900
Price of Full Neck Lift + Upper Face Lift: US$4,500

THE VERTICAL FACE LIFT / MID FACE LIFT / ENDOSCOPIC MIDFACE LIFT
The vertical facelift also called endoscopic Midface Lift technique specifically targets the mid-face and addresses aging changes around the mouth, including drooping cheeks, smile lines, marionette lines, and jowls. This procedure counteracts the effects of gravity by lifting tissues upward, restoring fullness to the cheeks for a more youthful appearance.
At our facility, we often combine this technique with a Neck Lift to further enhance the results, achieving not only a more youthful appearance but also a defined neck contour and overall facial rejuvenation.
Price of Vertical Face Lift + Neck Lift: US$3,900
Price of Upper Face Lift + Vertical Face Lift + Neck Lift: US$4,500

BROW LIFT / BROWPLASTY / TEMPORAL BROW LIFT / LATERAL TEMPORAL BROW LIFT / MINI BROW LIFT / MINI FOREHEAD LIFT / ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT / ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT
The Brow lift, also known as the temporal brow, Endoscopic Brow Lift, Lateral Temporal Brow Lift, Mini Brow lift, or mini forehead lift, focuses on addressing outer upper eyelid hooding. It elevates the tail of the brow using a small incision concealed within the hairline. This procedure is often performed in conjunction with an eyelid lift (blepharoplasty).
The Brow lift can produce various effects, including:
- Reducing wrinkles and folds in the brow, forehead, and corners of the eyes
- Smoothing the forehead
- Raising the outer third of the brow
- Lifting sagging cheeks
- Removing or reducing hooding over the upper eyelids
- Smoothing "crow's feet" around the eyes
- Giving "sleepy" eyes a wider and more open appearance
The Temporal brow lift and Traditional brow lift target the same area of the face. However, the difference lies in the fact that the temporal brow lift focuses on arching the brow up at its outer corner without lifting the central forehead and brow. The length and type of incisions used will depend on the patient's needs and the extent of the lift. A traditional brow lift is a more invasive surgery.
However, at our facility, we do not perform extreme brow lifts that involve lifting the entire forehead (such as the coronal incision over the top of the head and from ear to ear). This approach can result in a prominent scar and damage to the hairline. Moreover, there is a risk of damaging nerves and other vital structures. Additionally, this highly invasive brow lift procedure typically requires a longer recovery time, approximately 2 weeks.
Price of Brow Lift or Temporal brow lift: US$2,700
Price of Full SMAS Face Lift (Brow Lift / Temporal brow lift + Neck Lift): US$4,500

REVISION FACELIFT SURGERY / SECONDARY FACE LIFTS / BROW LIFT REVISIONS
A botched facelift may look and feel unfixable, but it can be revised.
Facelifts usually fail because of a surgeon’s lack of expertise. 90% of facial plastic surgeons perform superficial facelifts; which tighten the skin and do not treat supportive musculature. In some cases, surgeons may also pull facial tissue too tight, which makes patients look startled and unnatural. In other cases, surgeons undertreat the face, leaving clients with jowls, neck laxity, and drooping cheeks.
Cases of botched brow lift can be the consequence that a surgeon has too aggressively elevated the brow and forehead during a browlift surgery, the result can look artificial, and in some cases make the patient appear startled, in other case the problem can be that the eyebrow position is asymmetric
Our surgeons specialize and have developed techniques for Revision facelift to correct the results of a poor previous facelift.
Before performing a secondary facelift, we ask our patients to wait at least 12 months after the initial surgery because it takes about a year for skin, muscle, and other tissue to heal before the face can endure another operation.
Price of Revision Face Lift: US$5,200

ETHNICAL FACE LIFTS

AFRICAN AMERICAN FACELIFT SURGERY
A facelift procedure for African Americans must be customized to address the unique characteristics of their aging process, as well as the anatomical variances and differences in skin type common among individuals of African descent. Additionally, African Americans often have a higher propensity for hypertrophic scarring and keloid formation. Therefore, employing specific plastic surgery suturing techniques is essential to minimize scarring.
Price of African Face Lift (Mid Face + Neck): US$3,900
Price of African Full Face Lift (Upper Face Lift + Mid Face + Neck): US$4,500

ASIAN FACELIFT SURGERY
Asian faces show distinct characteristics compared to other ethnicities. Similar to individuals of African descent, Asian patients are prone to developing hypertrophic scarring and keloid scars at a higher frequency. Additionally, their facial anatomy typically includes a flatter facial skeleton, heavier tissues leading to increased sagging in the lower face, greater accumulation of fat in the lower face and neck area, more prominent droopy buccal fat pads (cheek fat pads), and thicker skin. These factors contribute to a unique aging process among Asian patients.
As a result, specialized methods are required to enhance Asian patients' appearances while preserving their ethnic identity. For instance, it is common for our surgeons to combine facelift procedures with the reduction of buccal fat pads in the cheeks to contour the cheeks and neckline effectively.
Our clientele includes patients from various parts of the world, including China, Korea, Japan, and Singapore, seeking specialized care tailored to their unique facial characteristics and aesthetic goals.
Price of Asian Face Lift (Mid Face + Neck): US$3,900
Price of Asian Full Face Lift (Upper Face Lift + Mid Face + Neck): US$4,500

MALE FACELIFT / MALE FACE LIFTING
When performing a Male Face Lift, our surgeons are particularly mindful of scarring concerns. They have developed pioneering methods that prioritize small, well-placed incisions aimed at minimizing postoperative blemishes. This approach is beneficial for all men, including those who are balding or prefer shorter haircuts.
It is also crucial for plastic surgeons to avoid feminizing male faces during the procedure. Men typically opt for facelift procedures that target the area just above and beneath the chin.
Price of Men Face Lift (Mid Face + Neck): US$3,900
Price of Men Full Face Lift (Upper Face Lift + Mid Face + Neck): US$4,500

LIQUID FACELIFT / FACE LIFT ALTERNATIVE / 8 POINTS FACE LIFT / 5 POINTS FACE LIFT
The liquid facelift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves the use of facial dermal fillers, typically containing hyaluronic acid, and neurotoxin injections to rejuvenate the face. Commonly used fillers to add volume and address deep lines, wrinkles, and folds include: Voluma, Restylane Lift, Radiesse, Belotero, and Juvéderm.
Neurotoxin compounds such as BOTOX or Dysport are utilized to treat smaller lines and wrinkles by temporarily blocking nerve signals to specific muscles. This results in skin tightening and relaxation of underlying muscles.
Liquid facelifts can treat a number of facial areas. These include, but are not limited to:
Jowls / Jawline / Marionette lines / Nasolabial folds / Cheeks / Under-eye hollows / Eyelids / Forehead / Eye Brows
The overall cost of the procedure will vary depending on the region it is applied to and the required number of units. Cost per unit in Mexico US$15

FACIAL FAT TRANSFER / FAT GRAFTING / GROWTH FACTOR FACELIFT
Fat Transfer (Fat Injections or Fat Grafting) and Growth Factor Face Lifting represent some of the most advanced techniques in plastic surgery over the past 30 years. During this time, it has been realized that facial aging occurs not only due to sagging but also due to loss of natural volume in areas such as the cheeks, jawline, and under the eyes. The "Growth Factor Facelift" procedure involves harvesting fat from the abdomen and then transferring it back into areas of the face that have lost volume. Unlike traditional fat grafting procedures, the fat is processed to maximize the presence of "Adult Growth Factors," which are sources for producing other "hormone-like" substances present in the transplanted fat.
As the face is re-inflated with fat, it refills and lifts, similar to how a deflated balloon regains its shape when inflated. This technique effectively restores volume to areas such as the drooping cheeks, jawline, smile lines, and marionette lines.
The cost of Facial Fat Transfer in Mexico starts at US$1,000

FACELIFTS FOR WOMEN IN THEIR 40’S
Facelifts have traditionally been preferred by older women for their dramatic results but according to many studies the average age for facelifts in around the world is declining rapidly. Facelifts in the 40s are becoming more and more popular.
The same studies reveal that these patients who chose to have a facelift at forty had already spent an average of $7,000 each on less invasive procedures. We have treated many women who over 3 to five years have spent twice the cost of the facelift. While there is more cost for a facelift, the results last a decade or more. You will spend less money over the long term.

PROCEDURES NOT PERFORMED AT OUR FACILITY

Treatments NOT “Approved" by our medical team.

The procedures below do not meet our standards of safety, effectiveness, and/or holistic attributes.
That this list is based solely on the opinions of our surgeons and may not necessarily reflect the opinions of all doctors or the standard of care in your area. Therefore, before undergoing any invasive cosmetic treatment, it is highly recommended that you consult with a certified and experienced board-certified plastic surgeon.

ANTERIOR HAIRLINE BROWLIFT / CORONAL HAIRLINE BROWLIFT
This procedure is NOT "approved" by our plastic surgeons.

A coronal or hairline brow lift is a surgical procedure that aims to restore a more youthful appearance by removing excess or sagging skin in the upper third of the face. The incision for this procedure is typically made just behind the hairline, from ear to ear. The term "coronal" is used to describe the location of the incision.
You won't find this procedure at our facility because we have never seen a scar from this procedure that we found aesthetically pleasing. The anterior hairline brow lift is an open brow lift, as opposed to an endoscopic brow lift, and typically involves creating a lengthy scar along the front of the hairline. While this procedure can be effective in shortening the forehead and making the hairline appear less receded, the reality is that the resulting scars can be quite visible and make the hairline look unnatural.
At our facility we do perform Endoscopic Brow Lift /
Temporal Lift / Lateral Brow Lift.

THREADLIFTS
This procedure is NOT "approved" by our plastic surgeons.

It appears that plastic surgeons repeat the same errors every generation.
In 2004, there was a sudden surge of threadlift procedures performed by plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and even general practitioners.
These "minimally invasive facelifts" used barbed sutures to lift the skin. Many doctors claimed that these threads could create non-surgical facelifts.
After a year or two, it became evident that threadlifts had two major issues. Firstly, the results only lasted up to 6 - 9 months, at most. Secondly, the threads were often made of permanent sutures, so patients had to deal with protruding threads long after the results had faded.
As a result, the trend of threadlifts died down, and only a few doctors continued to offer them.
Recently, however, threadlifts have experienced a resurgence, particularly among a younger generation of plastic surgeons. One significant difference is that they now use absorbable threads, solving the issue of complications from permanent threads.
However, the question remains whether the modern threadlifts have longer-lasting results than their predecessors. While time will tell, some plastic surgeons remain skeptical, including our plastic surgeons.
They still question whether barbed sutures can deliver the long-term results that patients desire.
