What is the Liposuction procedure?

Before the Liposuction
No medicine containing of the aspirin must be taken in 20 days preceding the intervention.

How long does Liposuction take?
The procedure can last from 1 to 2 hours depending on the number of treated areas
How visible will Liposuction scars be?
No incision is required for this type of intervention. Stitches are removed 6 or 7 days after your surgery.
You will have several scars of no more than 0.1 inches (3 mm) long.
Recovery and Healing after Liposuction
Depending on the number of processed and any associated surgical areas, this procedure can be ambulatory or requiring overnight hospitalization. The recovery time is proportional to the amount of fat removed. The pain is variable from one patient to another, but are in general small. Edema and swelling appear at the treated areas. Any normal activity may be resumed the day after surgery.

Results after Liposuction
Within 4 to 6 months is needed to assess the final outcome.
EXTRA INFORMATION
Liposuction is not a treatment for obesity or a substitute for proper diet and exercise. It is also not an effective treatment for cellulite, the dimpled skin that typically appears on the thighs, hips and buttocks, or loose saggy skin.
